Demi’s got BHD (bad hair day)

19 January 2010

If there’s one excuse we don’t sympathise with, it’s Demi Moore’s ‘I was having a bad hair day’ explanation for her no show at the Golden Globes on Sunday.  With Hollywood’s finest hair stylists at her fingertips, that ‘bad hair day’ was just a tiny beauty obstacle.  So may we suggest some tried and tested ‘bad hair day’ solutions:

Philip B is on ‘anyone who’s anyone’s’ speed dial when it comes to hair issues and his uber luxe step by step DIY hair treatment is loved by Charlize Theron, Gwyneth, Liv Tyler and Sharon Stone.

Step 1: Wash hair with Philip B Peppermint & Avocado Volumizing & Clarifying Shampoo
Step 2: Wash again with Philip B Russian Amber Imperial Shampoo and leave for 3 minutes
Step 3: Apply Philip B Katria Hair Masque and let it dry (you can use the hair dryer for speed)
Step 4: Rinse the Katria Masque and finish by spritzing Philip B Detangling Toning Mist and dry as usual

It’s a guaranteed hair recipe for restoring hair to how it used to look and feel before colouring and straighteners became a must have.

Alternatively if you want a product that does it all try, Shu Uemura’s ‘miracle in a bottle’ Absolue Essence, a leave-in oil that you apply to damp hair, comb through and dry in for sleek and nourished hair.  It’s hair’s answer to a facial.

We can go one step better, let someone else, i.e a hair pro, create a bespoke hair rehab. Wella System Professional’s Hair Alchemy is a personalised in salon treatment so whether it’s volume, repair or hydration (to name just a few) it’s designed to target exactly what’s giving you a ‘bad hair day’!
