Off With Her Red

There's just one word to sum up OPI's Alice in Wonderland collaboration: A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.  Created to coincide with Tim Burton's hotly anticipated film hitting screens next year (again, amazing!), OPI recreated the Mad Hatter's tea party in a swanky suite at London's Dorchester hotel, complete with cakes and everything (Is it just us or isn’t the Queens of Hearts eye makeup really quite Marc Jacobs S/S '10-esque?) for the launch.

Expect four brilliant shades including 'Mad as a Hatter', a bonkers multi-coloured sparkly hue inspired by The Mad Hatter’s eyes which change colour throughout the film, and 'Off With Her Red', a matte russet red (v on trend!), 'Thanks So Muchness', a metallic red, and 'Absolutely Alice', a bright blue glittery number. They're £9.95 each and are available from March 2010 ( 01923 240010).

And then, as if by magic 12 cupcakes arrived from another hot nail brand, Essie, in celebration of their Christmas nail collection which includes 'Lollipop' and 'Mint Candy Apple', giving us an excuse for a 2nd office tea party.  Excessive? Certainly. But it's Christmas after all!
