There’s a crime against beauty happening right now in the form of a beauty expression ban in Japan. Japanese swimmers could face a lifetime ban on, wait for it, wearing bright nail polish or nail art (hello, the Japanese are nail aficionados) or having dyed hair. A little bit unfair to say the least, isn’t sport about fun and individuality too? We just can’t imagine having our creative beauty juices suppressed. It makes us sad just thinking about it.
