Guest blogger: How MAC are prepping for LFW!

As you’ll probably know by now we’re trailing MAC make-up artist-turned-Grazia Daily-blogger around the shows for his take on what happens backstage. He’s just touched down in London…

Arrived back in London after a very quick flight from New York (6 hours) and went straight to the office to pick up the new colour for Spring 2010. It so weird working in fashion as you are always six months ahead of yourself! Spring is very colourful in terms of the palette - corals, peaches and candy pinks to name but a few but all with a modern appeal. Textures are subtle washes of colour and very easy to wear, you’ll be glad to hear.

First day of LFW and I'm straight into makeup tests for Topshop Unique and Meadham Kirchhoff. The makeup for Topshop is a beautiful clean skin and a bright pink pop on the lip using Pinkshock Creamcolour Base and pro Pigment in Magenta Madness. Looks great, but takes five hours (its always a very long makeup test) so I’m not at MeadhamKirchhoff until 9pm and I've been working since early hours this morning! I hope this will be a quick and easy test as I'm up at 5 30am tomorrow for three shows and its going to be one hell of a day…
