Diane Kruger's done it again. Since Cannes, all we've talked about is that hair – remember those braids she did so well? – and then this weekend she stepped out at the Inglourious Basterds premiere in Berlin with the most gorgeous do. We just had to get hold of the man (now legend) behind Diane's style, Adam Reed, to get the scoop. Adam explained that he and Diane discuss how her hair will look by looking at her outfit options. He then shows her mood boards and presents her with his ideas for the hair. At the Berlin premiere, they were both inspired by the film's war-time theme but wanted to keep it fresh and modern. ‘Essentially it was a '40s wave but not a smooth and sleek version. I used tonnes of Shu Uemura Liquid Fabric, my hero Diane hair tool, and used a Babyliss Marcel Waving Iron to create the wave. I found the nude hair pins in Screenface – they were just what I wanted as they were matte, perfect to create the corset style at the back of the hair.'

As we speak, Adam is flying to Australia with Diane for the Melbourne and Sydney premieres where he has custom-made hair jewellery for Diane. ‘I'm not sure what we'll be doing yet as she hasn't decided her outfits but I've made a lot of hair jewellery pieces from specially made jewellery from Stella McCartney, McQueen and Kirt Holmes. The mood boards for Australia are great!' Hurrah! Bring on Diane's next hair instalment. Oh and another thing... Diane does all her own make-up whilst Adam fixes her hair. That red lipstick is from Shu Uemura if you were wondering.... Watch this space as Adam updates us from Australia where he'll be telling us exactly what he and Diane get up to.
