Q: ‘I am looking for a lash-lengthening mascara that has a glossy black finish and gives a doe-eyed look to the eyes.' knightsbridge
A: Easy! Maybelline Lash Stiletto, £7.99, does this amazingly. Plus it's cheap and brand new!
Q: ‘What is this season's must-have nail polish shade? I always wear the same old boring pink colours. Any suggestions?' Birkin09
A: Well forget about pink this season for starters... There are two ways to go depending on your mood and look. First bright mint green. Try www.barrymcosmetics.com for the best mints around. Or go for cherry. We love Revlon Nail Polish in Cherries In The Snow, £6.16 - a re-released classic Revlon colour from the '50s!
Q: ‘I need to find a compact foundation for my handbag in case of any shine emergencies – what would you recommend?' Birkin09
A: I'm a big fan of compact foundations. I'd recommend going for Max Factor Miracle Touch Liquid Illusion Foundation, £11.20, for the best finish. Or if it's just a shine issue, blotting papers work wonders. MAC and Shu Uemura do great ones and they simply absorb your shine without adding more powder or make-up.
