It was one of THE hottest hair looks of the S/S '09 season. The side-slicked, '80s-vibe bagel bun at the Phillip Lim show left us swooning for more so we called in the experts to find out how it's done! Here Fructis Style A-list stylist Oliver Woods gives us a masterclass...
Step 1: Sweep the hair into a side ponytail – low or high is your decision, depending on where you want your finished bagel to be.
Step 2: Slip a hair doughnut over your ponytail.
Step 3: Backcomb your ponytail a little using a wide-toothed comb and some Fructis Style Bamboo Flexihold Spray (£2.29; available nationwide) to add texture.
Step 4: Wrap your ponytail around the doughnut, tuck the ends underneath and secure with some bobby pins.
Step 5: Finish with another spritz of spray and ta-da!
