Brace yourselves beauty lovers.Turbans are back – and the new ones come in leather! 'The leather wrap reminds me both of a Moroccan Fez and the hats that women in Brittany traditionally wear,' hair guru Julien d'Ys told us backstage at yesterday's Paris YSL show. To create the look he used handfuls of Japanese gel by Tamaris to whisk the hair into super-tight buns on the crown of models' heads, before wrapping the leather around to make the turban. To complement the new YSL power look, make-up artist Tom Pecheux kept eyes and cheeks bare, brows arching dramatically with a pencil line drawn at the very top of their natural eyebrows and went for a vampish red lip using YSL shade No. 17 that he said was like 'a dark red rose.'
