Erdem does the 'Dolly Roll'...

Ooh, we love a nice strong hair reference when it comes to nailing the backstage beauty look – and Erdem didn't disappoint. For his Fall 2009 collection, Erdem wanted the girls to have all the youthfulness of Russian Dolls. To get the look and add texture, Charles Worthington stylist Andrew John primed the hair with CW Salon Shine Results Volume Mousse (£4.49; www.charlesworthington.com). Hair was then wound up into a high ponytail, backcombed with a bristle brush and put into a dishevelled bun with random sections pulled out. The finishing touch was CW Shine All Over Glass Spray (£4.49), which gave the hair a fresh, shiny look. Voila!
