The 'Croydon facelift' returns at Olivia Rubin...

Slicked-back, stretched-taut ponytails on the top of the head - it can only be the 'Croydon facelift'...and that was exactly the inspiration for the look at today's Olivia Rubin show. To contrast the heavily printed and tesselated designs of Olivia's colelction, stylist Luke Hersheson kept things simple with a modern pony that had a bit of a swing - and that trademark facelift effect. Lauren Hersheson's make-up focused on keeping the cheeks razor-sharp using MAC Fabulush Cream Colour using sticky tape applied to the face to keep the line of the blusher dead straight, and nails remained nude in MAC's 'Pretty Miss'. See more pictures below, and check out the full show report here.

  • No not the return of the croyden facelift why would stylish young women want to looked like they lived on a rough council estate and worked in the local supermarket. Don't do it girls!
