How many times have you heard the beauty mantra, 'eyes OR lips'? Yup, we admit we're guilty of touting that one at times ourselves, but we're happy to admit that times have changed. Just look at the London stars at last night's Elle Style Awards. Natalie Imbruglia, Thandie Newton and Pixie Geldof all went for super-long lashed smudgy eyes (we're calling it the power eye) and a vamped-up red lip. While Pixie kept her lips blurry and her skin goulishly pale, Nat and Thandie went for a neater version that injected some serious volume into their pouts. So we're binning that old beauty mantra and getting into power eyes and lips. It's full on but we think we can handle it...
