Christian Lacroix couture: the new beauty facelift...

28 January 2009

Who needs Botox when you've got the latest, youth-inducing beauty look as seen yesterday at the Christian Lacroix couture show in Paris? Models glided down the catwalk sporting slicked-back ballerina buns on the crown of the head with one strand of colour plaited into them. And while this super swept-up look lifted the skin around the temples, make-up artist Stéphane Marais added to the gravity-defying look with eyeliner flicked up at the corners of the eyes. Factor in some heavy illuminator across the tops of the cheekbones and we spot a serious facelift-effect. No needles necessary!
