We've just seen Keira Knightley strutting her stuff on the Chanel Couture front row at her first ever fashion show and now we've got the scoop on her perfect porcelain doll-like beauty look – from Keira's own make-up artist!
'Keira is such a classic beauty and was wearing a very chic, simple, black, high-neck Chanel top and a classic tweed skirt,' says A-list make-up guru, Kay Montano. 'I decided her make-up look should be very ingénue in contrast to her classic clothes. Keira's cool, Jane Birkin-esque fringe also frames her beautiful eyes so I decided to keep them the focus.'
Kay kept Keira's skin very translucent with Chanel's sheer foundation Vitalumiere in Clair followed by a very light dusting of Poudre Universelle Compacte in Beige to give her skin a soft matte texture. She then created a chocolate, plum eye courtesy of Les 4 Ombres in Mystic Eyes over a liberal smudging of Chanel's eye pencil in brown. The eyes were completed with Chanel liquid liner next to the top lashes, edging to a 'rock' version of the classic tick plus lashings of Exceptionnel black mascara. Fandango blush was brushed on the cheeks to give a natural flush. Lips were given a modern retro look with a light slick of Levres Signées Chanel satin lip cream palette. So there you have it.
