Awards, schmards - while the rest of you people were checking out who won what and what dresses passed the red carpet test, we were scutinising the hottest beauty looks from last night's Golden Globes in the name of giving out our own prizes. And the best awards goes to...

Best 'we want to be you' award: JLo, you're our beauty heroine. The golden radiance, the super-sleek hair, the cheekbones and the balmy nude lips with mile-long lashes...we just heart you forever.

Best risktaker: Way to go Drew - that bird's nest 'do is crazy, but we love it. (Renee Zellweger, please take notes on the do's and dont's of messy-chic hair)

Best predictable-but-it-works: Blake Lively always looks blonde, tousled and cheekboned-up. Works for us in a not try-hard kinda way...

Best age-defying beauty: Forget Demi Moore, (no one looks that good at her age without serious intervention), Kristin Scott Thomas' eternal pale but flawless skin, tawny eyes and pared-down lips is always a hit. Kristin, we salute you...

Best newcomer: Evan Rachel Wood - we love you for making pale skin and auburn hair look so fab...

And the not-so-good...

Worst lips and dress combo: Cameron Diaz, do you live in a place with no mirrors? The bubble gum pink dress and lips is way OTT  - and the limp, straggly hair isn't helping.   Worst all-rounder: Renee Zellweger. One word: yikes.

PS :  Our award for best groomed male goes to... Mario Lopez - the slick hair, the tanned, baby-smooth skin - has this man aged a jot since the days of Saved by the Bell???
