The new black lip, that's what! The fashion editors are taking their seats front of house and I just nipped backstage at Westwood to speak to make-up artist Pep Gay who was busy putting a new spin on the black lip. 'This has a 20's feel to it and is inspired by an old photograph Vivienne showed me,' Pep told us. So what's new? Instead of the glossy finish we saw at last season's YSL and Giles show this is matte and has a gap down the middle. Confused? 'I drew an exaggerated lip line and filled in the lip leaving a neat line down the centre to give it a more modern edge.' The lipstick in question? Pep actually used a MAC fluid liner in black mixed with paint stick to get the look. More pictures soon - when the show actually starts!
