How's this for a sneak preview? The fashion editors haven't arrived for Matthew Williamson's last Pucci show yet - it kicks off in about half an hour - but we're backstage bringing you the action literally as it happens! So what's going on? Well the girls are trickling in from DSquared to be transformed from Charlie's Angels to 'David Bowie gone neutral!' Charlotte Tilbury for MAC (yes, she is the show guru) is concentrating on sculpting and contouring on the eyes and cheeks, creating slanted '70s triangles on the outer and inner corners of the eyes finished off with silver powder (an old-school MAC product). The cheeks are also being sculpted using brown crème colour base and blown out into a slanted triangle again to the temple. MAC's Plush Lash is applied only on the outer half of lashes in brown if the models are fair, and black if they are darker. 'Mathew wanted the girls to be graphic and hard-edged to reflect the collection,' Charlotte told us quickly. Meanwhile hairstylist Paul Hanlon is taking references from Peter Lindbergh's photos of the great supermodels to create a 'very summer' look. The hair is split into two textures, very shiny through the top with luxurious, deep soft waves at the back. ‘Think 1980s Brooke Shields pushed up hair at the front - which we do with our hands - but at the back it's swimming-pool hair - super-shined with Nuxe body oil. They're Matthew's girls: strong, sexy and bit cooler.' Now we can't wait to see the show!
