Charlotte Tilbury worked her magic make-up hands again on the now 'three-weeks-in' tired models backstage at Alessandro Dell'Acqua. And fortunately for us, she let us watch how she peps them up. Alessandro had said he didn't want any references to films or photos, instead simply briefing Charlotte that the models should look really beautiful with a chic, modern edge. Working with the colours of the clothes, the models' eyes were washed with a mix of MAC Crème Colour Bases that together made an oyster/mushroom/tea-stain colour that was blown out to the eyebrow. Eight-hour cream was lightly patted softly on top to create a shimmer and shine effect, and just at the roots of the curled lashes, chocolate brown mascara was applied. The skin was carefully prepared with lots of moisturiser and then three drops of MAC Face and Body in C4 or C5 was dropped into the hands and patted into the skin. ‘Even though it's a tiny amount, it warms up the face and makes a dramatic difference,' Charlotte told us in between slatherings. ‘It's like you're not wearing anything but look immediately healthy. That's my top tip for application this season.' The look was finished off with MAC's Pink Stock lipstick tapped into the centre of the lips - ‘The beige/orange tint gives that Brigette Bardot look'. Three types of MAC crème blusher (Lilicent, Posey and Laid Back) were blended and placed high on the cheek bones to bring them out - and just looked gorgeous. The models' hair, by Luigi Murenu, was parted in the centre with a dry texture and slight wave for a lazy, romantic feel, and extensions were added to the models to give them all the same length perfection.
