Just nipped backstage at the Alberta Ferretti show to see super-team make-up artist Lucia Peroni and Guido work their magic on some of this season's hottest models. The gossip? Models Anja Rubik, Chanel Iman, and Grazia favourites Jourdan Dunn and Suvi were frantically being transformed into beautiful bohemians with 1920s drop-waist, fringed dresses and dishevelled glamour make-up. Think a burgundy stained lip, creamy complexion, sculpted eye and fresh, mascara-free lashes. 'Going without mascara is the key to keeping this dramatic lip soft and modern,' Lucia told us in between girls. She used MAC Lip Pencil in Burgundy to create the stain and then smudged the lip line with a cotton bud. Meanwhile the hair team sprang into action to give model Bruna a messy blow-dry in express time - I spotted three hairdryers blasting her locks at one point! Dare you to try that one tomorrow morning...!
PLUS: We almost forgot to mention the most hardcore beauty trend we've seen backstage so far. Each girl received a speedy pedicure and serious nail buffing with what can only be described as a mini sander. Ouch. Mind you I've never seen toe nails so shiny!
Check out the backstage pictures below and tell us what you think of Feretti's dishevelled glamour...
