Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's backstage beauty remedies

17 September 2008

There's no better judge of a go-to beauty saviour than a model. So, when we spotted model of the moment, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley backstage at the Amanda Wakeley show it wasn't long before we were swapping beauty tips. Just how does the face of Burberry keep her skin and hair from backstage melt-down? ‘I never leave home without an oil based make-up remover like Lancome Bi-Facial. Then I re-hydrate my skin with organic products from MV Skincare (, which I have shipped over from Australia before the shows,' says Rosie. Her must-have product? ‘ The Rose Soothing & Protective Moisturiser, because it's so calming which is perfect for show season when my skin is more sensitive.' Our girl also loves Jo Wood Organics body oils and does weekly Kerastase hair treatments at home. As for keeping energy levels up, there wasn't a cup of coffee in eyeshot, only a virtuous bowl of fruit salad and juice. ‘I'm big on looking after myself. I take psyllium husks, evening primrose oil and vitamin HTP5 every day during show season.' After checking out Ms Huntington-Whiteley's skin at close-range, we'd say whatever she's doing it's working.
