Mark Carrasquillo, MAC's make-up artist at the Giles show, created three textures on the models' faces - dusty, powdery skin; plasticky eyes using two types of MAC false lashes (No.s 7 and 1); and super-glossy lips. 'It's Deborah Harry meets art installation,' said Mark, so think uber-modern rock chic. The hair, created by Samantha Hillaby for Label.M, reminded us a bit of the styles seen at Christopher Kane. ‘Because of the Pac-Man theme, the hair needed to be a bit helmety, so we decided on a classic chignon with real texture and to have bits of hair pulled out at the top,' says Samantha. We loved it! As for the nails, it was all about matte blood red, which had Sam Sweet from Creative's Nail Design Team mixing four colours - now that's what we call custom blending.
