The only way to cope with this ever changing weather is to layer. Today Sophie Ferguson Jones has been working her trusty sleeveless jacket over a cardi + vest top combo so when it heats up its easy to lose a layer. This jacket is fast becoming a wardrobe staple in the fashion editor's closet and Sophie is now on the hunt for a military style in time for Fashion Week, which is just around the corner. Layering her jewels is also Sophie's new favourite styling tip as she mixes two-tone metals - once a faux pas, now utterly fabulous.
After seasons of brights, pastel hues have had a comeback this season and are slightly less harsh on the skin and even softer when colour-blocked. SFJ's mint green cardi from COS will be a good intro into all the new colour combinations we expect to see for autumn. Plus, it will work brilliantly with burgundy, pumpkin and mustard tones as seen at the Acne and Antonio Berardi shows.
