Grazia’s Shopping Editor Lily Russo and Fashion Reporter Hannah Almassi were in sunny NYC this week to attend the opening party of Zara’s global flagship store on 666 Fifth Avenue. But what do London girls wear for such a glossy occasion?
Well, Lily stayed true to the high street store and rocked one of their latest styles – this thigh-split lemon-yellow chiffon dress – and then made it original with a vintage brooch and nude cami and slip-skirt. We particularly like her sorbet colour blend with lilac Prada shoes and a cream Anya Hindmarch purse. No one does pastels quite like Miss Russo.
Hannah wore a rather jazzy vintage number (she’s not quite sure where she picked that one up), with an Olga Berg chainmail bag, Freedom at Topshop torque necklace, Miu Miu sandals and a lotta red lippy. It’s her ‘70s morocco moment – and totally tapping that laid-back evening maxi vibe.
But what would you wear for a big shindig in The Big Apple? Let us know!
