Style Hunter’s favourite new shop!

To be honest, just calling LN-CC (AKA the finest thing to hit East London in yonks) a mere ‘shop’ doesn’t describe its absolute brilliantness. Last night Style Hunter followed the throng of cool kids to LN-CC’s basement location on Shacklewell Lane in Dalston to view the opening of artist Richard Culver’s exhibition, ‘Too Dark One Light’. Yes, this soon-to-be fashion Mecca has a gallery space too. And a cosy library. And a club. And the sound system (as so diligently manned by DJ Jonny Nash) is the very same one that the Sex Pistols once used in their studio. All achingly awesome so far – and that’s before we even discuss the clothes!

Jil Sander Women's Wide Long Trousers; G.V.G.V Women's Tweed Separated Jacket

The appointment only concept store’s intriguingly tactile design is down to artist and uber set designer Gary Card: you’ll find spaces separated in futuristic but friendly pod-like havens to house all the goodies from big timers like Jil Sander and Haider Ackerman through to under-the-radar wonders like Ohne Titel and the most exclusive Japanese brands such as G.V.G.V and Yaeca - that until now were only available in Japan.

As expected, the crowd in attendance (and boy, was it crowded) was an eclectic one–with London’s most haute hipsters brushing shoulders with the likes of Stephen Fry, Matthew Williamson and Coco Sumner. But you know me, I’m not there for the celeb spots, I’m on 24/7 stylish-girl-watch and thus I noticed the unusual vintage finds, Christopher Kane’s last season leather and lace and a healthy only-in-London dollop of where-the-hell-did-you-find-THAT?? kind of krazee instead.

So I took a few snaps (v rainy, v dark, v underground, plus de vodka = a new found respect for party photographers) and studied the rails to bring you my top gallery-going girls and most lusted-after buys:

J.W. Anderson Gedney Hawaiian Print Tee Boy Festival; Tze Goh Women's Knee-Length Lime Yellow Dress

Saskia Diez Papier 115g Bag; Nicholas Kirkwood Woven Heels

Ohne Titel Women's Zip Pocket Pants; Yaeca Women's Placket Front T-Shirt
