So while I might pretend I’m all anti-bridezilla and ting, when I tell you that I’ve pretty much had what I’m wearing on my wedding day planned for, ooh, about five years then you would be WELL within your rights to reassess your opinion of me. Yes, The Dress is the one thing that has been in (drunken) discussion since I was about 25 – way before I met my husband-to-be. But before you judge me and assume that I’m like, really into princesses and pink and started a savings account for my wedding dress aged 13 (I WISH): stop.

When I say I have it , I don’t know what the dress will actually look like; more that I know who is going to design it. Three clues:

We used to work together at Sneak, AKA the best teen mag in the world (RIP – what do you MEAN you’ve never heard of it?) and bonded over writing about Blazin’ Squad (me) and editing the amazingness that was the ‘Blingin’ or Mingin’ style page (them)…

Yes, it’s Henry Holland. I’d just like to point out that that last shot of Henry free-styling with a huge piece of paper was sent me to me with the message ‘Thoughts?’ to which my main reaction  was ‘Only if no one comes near me with a lighter’. So you say that we’re not exactly far on with the whole designing thing…but I’m pretty excited about it all. So far, we’ve talked about: dip dying, lace, short, long, multiple dresses…everything, basically. I’m even open to the possibility of the famous HOH wedding antlers:

OK, maybe that might be too  much – if only cos the antlers would always be out of shot. Still, I can’t wait to actually sit in Henry’s studio and pretend I’m a serious fashion designer while annoying the hell out of everyone trying to do proper work. Ooh, I feel a mood board coming on…
