"The Catherine" – It’s Happening!

15 December 2010

Kate Middleton always gets her hair so right, doesn’t she? That perfectly coiffed, super shiny mane, with just the right amount of flick, and… Hang on a Fash-wan minute. That’s not Kate Middleton! That dame is Katie flippin’ Holmes. Eh?
Katie, spotted yesterday at the 2011 Golden Globe Nominations, appears to be morphing into the lovely Kate Middleton, with her lovely shiny skin, glossy lips and above all, that INCREDIBLE fashion hair.

Kate has what fashion types like to call "famous hair", which basically means hair which you and I would be unable to achieve without the aid of an enormous quantity of weave. Famous hair is super, super shiny, incredibly thick, damage free (obvs) and blow-dried to perfection, with ne’er an irritating kink or behind-the-ear wave to be seen. But how, Grazia Daily wonders, does the REAL Miss Middleton manage to maintain her lustrous tresses without an army of blow-drying bunnies? Hmm?
Naturally, the first thought which popped into our heads when we saw Miss Holmes yesterday was: she’s totally gunning for a role in the inevitable biopic (after all she DID just do a very good impersonation of Jackie O) but then we realised that Katie is, in fact, just spearheading a trend we’re likely to see a lot more of in the coming year. If 2010 was all about the choppy bob, then Grazia Daily’s crystal ball predicts that ‘the Catherine’ is totally going to be 2011’s hairstyle du jour.
