As readers of Grazia Daily’s ‘Bride on a Deadline’ blog will know, the run-up to a wedding is a stressful time for almost all brides, let alone those with literally BILLIONS of people poised to see their nuptials. Radar online reports that one such bride, the lovely Kate Middleton, is stepping up her already intense gym regime in the run-up to her wedding to Prince William next April.
Well, no shizzle Sherlock, you might think. But wait! Radar do seem to have ferreted out some very specific insider knowledge of Kate’s bride-body workout, reporting that Miss Middleton is ‘on the rower, burning up to 500 calories an hour and shaping those all important back and arm muscles.’ Does this mean we’re going to be seeing Kate in a strapless dress? Hmm?
They also report that ‘the 5'10 beauty has upped her daily hour-long gym workouts, which include cycling, jogging and light weights to ensure she keeps her 120lb body in shape’. UPPED her HOUR LONG workouts? But when does she find time to eat any mince pies? As well as this, since it’s actually the law for the royals to go skiing over the festive period it’s almost certain that Kate and William will go out on the piste before April, with a full day skiing burning 2000 Calories, or about half a box of festive chocolates.
In addition to exercising like a banshee, Kate and her mother Carole (above) are reportedly following the Dukan diet, a protein-rich food plan that boasts an ‘eat as much as you like’ tag (>raises eyebrows<) that is the number 1 diet for our super-slim Gallic cousins.
This news comes the same day it was revealed that the already-gorgeous Kate has had her first taste of wedding scrutiny, with Mario Testino having been invited to take the official engagement shots of Kate and William. Testino, of course, famously photographed William’s mother Diana shortly before her death, and he and his brother Harry have sat for the legendary photographer several times since. The official photos are scheduled to be released before Christmas and Grazia Daily will naturally be bringing you them the very second they are released into the wild. Eep!
