Arms outstretched, little Prince George takes his first steps [Kensington Palace]
Cast your minds back to this time last year. If you’re anything like us you were excitedly awaiting the birth of our future monarch (and a cute pic of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge as first time parents).
Now as we approach George’s first birthday (22nd July), we’ve been treated to an adorable snap of the little Prince taking his first steps unaided. Naaaww!
The release of this official picture signifies the beginnings of the royal celebrations for the future King who turns one on Tuesday.
Already described by his proud dad Prince William as ‘charging around’ the picture confirms that we have a confident little tot on our hands.
The photo was taken during a visit to London’s Natural History Museum in the Sensational Butterflies outdoor exhibition which Kate and Wills visited a few weeks ago.
(Baby steps, the Prince first took to his feet whilst watching his dad play Polo- Rex)
Looking too cute for words in his striped dungarees from Petit Bateau and his ever-so-smart side swept hair we cannot wait to see how Kate dresses him for the party on Tuesday, which is said to be taking place at home in Kensington Palace along with close friends and family.
Prince Harry, who will no doubt be guest of honour at the soiree, described his nephew as having ‘big chubby cheeks’ and looking a little bit like a ‘young Winston Churchill’. After taking a look at this latest pic, we quite agree!
Although we have yet to receive our invite (ahem) we’ve put together a Prince George inspired gift guide just in case we have to pick up a last minute gift on route to Ken Pal.
