The Kate Middleton maternity parade might have ended, but Grazia's royal baby style watch continues thanks to Zara Phillips debuting her first maternity look at Glorious Goodwood over the weekend. According to The Telegraph, Zara and her husband Mike Tindall are planning to get a nanny to help out with their first child, unlike the Duchess of Cambridge who has decided not to have any extra help with Baby George. A friend of the royal revealed, 'Zara and Mike both have a lot of sporting commitments next year, so they know they will need some extra help caring for the baby. They want to be as hands-on as possible, but they have to be realistic about their respective workloads and all the travel that their jobs necessitate.'

And already we've got a taster of Zara's maternity style. The second-eldest grandchild of the Queen stepped onto the Glorious Goodwood racecourse in a canary dress with a loose silhouette, pairing her sunny ensemble with a Mulberry clutch bag, Kate Middleton-esque nude courts and a black spiral fascinator. Someone clearly paid attention to K-Middy's baby bump staples. Zara certainly gets a high style score from us, but how does she compare to royal mums-to-be of days gone by?

Not ones to miss the opportunity to have a royal flashback, we've rounded up maternity looks from everyone from Princess Diana to Princess Margaret so you can get comparing. Kate Middleton's greatest maternity moments included mint a Mulberry number, some Topshop polka dots and a dash of Erdem florals, while Princess Diana opted for loose tents frocks and oversized cardigans to conceal her growing tum. Take a look through the gallery below to revisit the greatest (and not so great) royal maternity moments through the years...
