You might have noticed my whole pedalling project took a nosedive in the last few weeks. But I’ve got a wheely good excuse: I got married! Looklooklook!
I’ve got my beloved bicycle to thank for the legs in that dress (which, incidentally, was made by my genius mum! Love her).
While Mr Pedalling In Heels and I didn’t manage to cycle around hilly Pembrokeshire on a tandem trailing white ribbons, we did manage a game of cricket on our big day. Once a health editor, always a health editor. Just don’t mention the enormous amount of cider and cake to my trainer. But I kinda made up for yesterday when my husband and I (wwwhooot!) celebrated our last official day of honeymoon with a Boris bike ride along London’s South Bank. I got caught out without a cycling helmet – curse these spontaneous romantic bike rides – but fortunately my pink jeans stopped traffic. Or at least slowed the traffic down to an un-scary speed. I don’t want to undo the good work of my wedding diet, so I’ll be getting out on my bike training for Cycletta in September. Join the Grazia team at www.cycletta.com
