Last night, Grazia attended the launch of Vicomte A, a polo-inspired sportswear line, right here in London. Before dinner later at the Brompton club for 30 of his friends, Arthur de Soultrait, who is famed for being in THAT car with Pippa Middleton in Paris when THAT gun was pulled out, gave us a tour of the shop, full of taxidermy and cute framed photographs on the wall. 'I love the dynamic of London,' Arthur told us. 'I think as a company you just have to have a shop here. I looked for this place for about 2-3 years.'
The collection mostly consists of brightly coloured cords and easy-to-wear knits that wouldn't look amiss on the Made In Chelsea cast. Well, Francis Boulle at least. And it's conviently situated smack bang in the middle of the Kings Road. Henry Conway makes the perfect brand ambassador, arriving at the event dressed in Vicomte A's signature red cords - although, of course, he was also wrapped in a giant fur coat.
Arthur has an interesting back story. He was never interested in fashion until he started working in North Carolina for a company that went bust. He needed to make money to get home so he walked from door to door selling his Italian ties. Talk about a success story!
