It’s not often that we head to Kings Cross to party but with the offer of Marc Jacobs and oodles of Diet Coke on the table there was simply no way that we could resist. The German Gymnasium a beckon of warmth and excitement in the hideously cold weather.
Having held a press conference earlier in the day to unveil his three exclusive designs for the company of which he is now creative director Marc definitely seemed in the mood to party. After a series of interviews he hit the stage with three gorgeous models he posing as thousands of tiny red papers hearts were sprayed into the air – AMAZING!
And, when we weren't gawping at Marc in his stripey pyjamas there was plenty of other stuff to keep us entertained. From a make-up station, to photobooths, to the giant dance floor, this was one of those parties that proved that Diet Coke girls really do just want to have fun.
For those women (and men) who attended the party in the hope of checking out the new Diet Coke hunk Andrew Cooper they were in luck. The gorgeous model rocked up in a very tight black top along with Tyson Beckford – we’ve only just about stopped swooning.
Later in the evening we spotted Lady Mary Charteris enjoying the party, whilst Brit Smith Smart was one of the first to congratulate Marc on his new role. We loved chatting to fabulous designer and artist Daniel Lismore who looked resplendent in a Philip Treacy hat given to him by Boy George himself. It doesn’t look like our Diet Coke addiction is going to go away any time soon!
What we drank: We're pretty sure you can guess that one!
What we ate: Seared beef with a hollandaise sauce - YUM
