Juergen Teller Launches 'Curated Shelf' At The Louis Vuitton Maison: PARTY BEAT

27 February 2013 by

We absolutely LOVE Juergen Teller’s on-going exhibition at the ICA so when last night we were invited down to the Louis Vuitton New Bond Street Maison  where the famed photographer was presenting his ‘curated shelf’ we could hardly say no.

For those of you not au fait with art language the ‘curated shelf’ is used to display works which have influenced the artist – in this case Juergen – in the making of their own work. The best thing about it is that if you see one you like you can go ahead and buy it. You never know, you might be inspired yourself.

Following a good look around guests such as Portia Freeman, Jasmine Guiness, Leah Weller and Russell Tovey joined in a toast to the exhibition which has been a resounding success since opening at the end of January.

We were then invited upstairs to the Apartment – which is amazing FYI – were a selection of Juergen’s work was on display. Some guests chilled out on the plush sofas whilst others meandered from room to room. We spotted a fresh faced looking Bip Ling looking out for another glass of champagne – well, why not eh!

What we drank: Ruinart Champagne

What we ate: Mozerella and tomato skewered on a pesto pippet
