We grilled her on her style, embarrassing festival memories and a certain Mr Wood, the love of her life. The no-holds-barred interview with Fearne Cotton appears in today’s issue of Grazia.
We say ‘interview’, but it’s more like ‘chat with your mate on the sofa’, because that’s what it feels like with Fearne; a hilarious, friendly, girly chat. Over a cuppa we chatted her best and worst festival memories, including hanging with mates at the dance tent at Glastonbury, waking up in a stranger’s house during Coachella and hanging out with boyfriend of nearly-a-year, Jesse Wood (son of Rolling Stone, Ronnie).
Fearne and Jesse have been dating for almost a year, with their anniversary fast-approaching. They even have songs. ‘Lana del Rey’s Video Games is one of them. I played it loads around the time we met so always remind me of him. And we both love Edward Sharp and Magnetic Zero and they have this song called Home which we both love and saw them play live together so that’s one for us, too.’ Aww!
And she’s not afraid to admit her fashion mishaps (or ‘fashion f**k-ups’) which include luminous pink jeans caked in mud at a festival. Fearne couldn’t get enough of our clothes though, and even vowed to buy a couple of items she modelled for us; a bright pink Lavenham jacket and Rebecca Taylor jumper.
