Heading on holiday with your lover this summer? Well, according to a new study if it’s your first trip together there is a 1 in 3 chance it could be the last. Gulp!
The participants were quizzed on exactly what ended their relationship post hols and unsurprisingly, having nothing in common with their partner and discovering a looong list of annoying habits topped the list.
So how to tackle the ‘make or break' syndrome? Should we simply lower our expectations when on holiday and let go of the dream combo of sex, cocktails, beach, sex... or should we only expect the best, whether home or away?
The problem seems to be the pressure we’re placing on a first-time vacation. Remember your first girls-only trip when you started to secretly question your entire friendship? When you're back on home turf, that friendship more than likely endures - and makes it stronger if anything - so surely a week away with a new man could actually do wonders in the long term.
Either way, if a first time partner still finds you attractive with humidity-hair and heat rash, can't we overlook the fact they eat prawns WAY too loudly?
