The stars hit the gym [Instagram]

With memories of festive overindulgence in the rear-view mirror, this week is all about keeping up those New Year’s resolutions. From the hot diet to the new-fangled exercise class, this is the season of detox shaming and woe-betide anyone still sipping the G&Ts. Making the bombardment of advice on virtuous living all the more complete for 2014 is the endless stream of ‘instafit’ or ‘fit-spirational’ images currently clogging our Instagram feeds.

From Victoria’s Secret models working their abs to our driven friends showing off their kettle bells skills, the barrage of toned, perfect bodies is enough to inspire even the most determined couch potato to dust off their kicks and hit the gym. That’s the Insta-thought of the day.
