Boho's Back! How To Do It This Time Around

25 April 2014 by

Whilst this year’s Coachella has seen a fair few festi-favourites coming out of the closet (think maxi dresses, floral headbands, denim shorts), we’ve also seen the return of Boho. And how glad we are to see it back. This look is made for festivals, and what's more, it can work brilliantly off the field and on the street too. Move over Sienna Miller – meet jawdropping beauty, australian model/actress Isabel Lucas, Boho's new fashion darling. Here's our guide to getting the look.

Keep It Sleek -  Forget floppy brimmed hats and tiered skirting, boho 2:1 has a clean, ‘90s minimal edge, inspired by fashion's current obsession with grunge.

Ditch The Print – Avoid florals and chintz, not to mention chiffon. Isabel’s slouchy cotton maxi has scandi-cred in all-important black.

Man Up – Although sexy (hello Angelina split!), this is not a girlie look. This denim shirt is creased and boyish - and in a perfect ‘90s ‘true–blue’ shade. This is not about faded jean jackets, waistcoats or studs.

Forget Tousled Locks – Isabel’s hair is far cry from those Sienna Miller gypsy waves. Go for a clean, slicked centre-parting, baby bunches and hairslides.
