Despite being entranced by the colourful twinkleyness of Lauren’s regular GDN blog posts, and the fact that I never go out without painted nails myself, I’ve never had a proper manicure and I’ve never set foot in a designated nail bar. Why? Maybe coz I don’t know why I’d pay for something I can do at home on a Sunday night, but more seriously, because I’m scared of nail art. Stuck-on acrylics, different coloured tips and those mini diamantes all freak me out!
