Last week (please excuse the delay, we’ve been jet-setting don’t you know), we headed down to the Soho hotel for the launch of Revlon Fire and Ice Lipstick and Nail Enamel. Or should we say re-launch? Because this saucy scarlet was first released in 1952 with one of the most iconic ad campaigns ever known. Featuring the first ever model Dorian Leigh, it also included a page-long quiz that asked if you were made for Fire and Ice.
For 2010, the brand has recreated the original ad campaign with Mario Testino and Jessica Biel. And let us tell you this - it is hot. What's more, Grazia Daily Nail nearly toppled off our stool (where we were perched having a speedy red mani, natch) when none other than Hollywood actor Jeff Goldblum strolled into the room wearing, er, tracky bottoms and enquiring after a nail buff and the launch date of Fire and Ice. It's December, Jeff.
Revlon Fire and Ice Lipstick, £7.29; Revlon All Fired Up Nail Enamel, £6.29
