On a recent visit back to my mum’s I snooped around my favourite room, which I like to call her beauty cave. With all the treasures in there the most important is her nail polish collection, so imagine my joy when I stumbled upon an old favourite. Taking me right back to the giddy heights of my teenage beauty addiction, Northern Lights was THE top coat I begged my mum to purchase to feed our nail obsession. I remember so well when it arrived - it most certainly didn’t disappoint. The way it works: it takes a regular polish and turns it into a subtly holographic version all with the shake of a bottle and the slick of one coat - shiny, fast-drying and eye catching. I was hooked. It was so ahead of its time and I can’t believe I let it out of my sight for so long. So, welcome back I’ve missed you!
