Being Doctor Who's Assistant means some serious beauty maintenance. Because with all that time travel, it's got to be tough keeping up with trends of the past, present and future. So it's no surprise to see Karen Gillan going out on a limb and creating a whole new way to wear her manicure. With alternating red and black nails, the redhead's tempting me to change my nails for an A/W shade palette, and I'm certainly loving the two tone look, especially for those days when I'm torn between which shades to wear. If any of you lot are thinking of working this look, do not forget to apply a basecoat (head to Revlon, O.P.I and essie for the best) because no one wants their nail beds tinged with black, or red, or any colour in fact... You have been warned.
