Festival Quickfire: Katy B Dishes On Her Best - And Worst - Memories

07 August 2013 by

Festival season is still in full swing so to celebrate, we've called on our favourite festival-goers to dish on their fondest festie memories. Next up, we speak to singer Katy B, who's due to perform at V Festival this weekend (17-18 August - for tickets please visit www.vfestival.com).

Grazia Daily: What's your festival failsafe?
Katy B: A good pair of denim cut-off shorts.

Grazia Daily: What's your festival fashion do and don't?
Katy B: Wearing white is a bit of a disaster, I did that at Glastonbury once and was a very messy experience. I love a good poncho/waterproof thing, one with a great print, it's good to invest in a sick one because there's a chance you could be wearing it all weekend.

Grazia Daily: Have you ever had a festival fail?
Katy B: At Creamfields I had 3 power cuts on stage, that was a bit rubbish, but i got the audience to sing accapella with me which was quite special.

Grazia Daily: What's your best festival memory?
Katy B: When I was 18 I performed 'River Deep Mountain High' by Tina Turner as part of a soul music set with my college music class at the left field stage at Glastonbury I remember feeling so nervous but ecstatic to be there.

Grazia Daily: What's your dream festival scenario?
Katy B: Watching Chaka Khan whilst the sun is shining with a mojito and gorgeous boy.
