Think again. Becuase W Hotels have started to offer 'social media wedding concierges' to clients who choose to marry at one of their New York City hotels. Huh? Yes, for Instafan social media-obsessed couples who want to share their nuptials with their online networks as well as their in-the-flesh guests, the social media wedding concierge will live tweet the ceremony and reception alongside creating a "unique wedding #hashtag" and providing a "social media recap for the couple". Sounds like selfiedom and social media obsession spiralling down to new lows: #thanksbutnothanks.
