Has a TV show ever been more teased than I Am Caitlyn? Not that we’re complaining…
In the latest clip Caitlyn’s mum Esther is shown celebrating her transition, saying, ‘My first feeling was, 'I lost my son.' Then I thought, 'You know what? I'm gaining.’
Elsewhere, Caitlyn is seen meeting with transgender youth, and advising them to, ‘Hang out with the people that love you and respect you. We're all beautiful!’
The show looks like it will be an emotional rollercoaster, with one scene showing Caitlyn in tears saying, ‘I want them to be proud of their daddy.’ But there is light relief in the form of – you guessed it – Kim Kardashian.
In the final part of the trailer, Cait is shown inside her closet, telling Kim that she loves a black shift dress. To which Kim replies? ‘Mum has that.’
