Yes, they're back! Ripped jeans are this summer's must-have trouserwear and stars on both sides of the Atlantic are taking to them fast.
Whether you're 31-year-old Alexa Chung designing a pair for AG Jeans, or 19-year-old Kendall Jenner strutting her stuff in Beverly Hills, or even 69-year-old Goldie Hawn on a casual outing in Brentwood, whatever age, the frayed jeans suit.
And it doesn't even matter what style you favour either: boyfriend, skinny, cropped, even flared – with ripped there are no rules.
So get aboard the trend and start ripping those old favourites... or rather, keep them in pride of place as usual, and pop to the shops for some pre-ripped brand new favourites. They're only jeans after all – who needs an excuse?
