The humble white and yellow daisy has surpassed many other budding competitors to take pride of place in this summer’s flower show. Maison Margiela has daubed them onto ankle boots and crafted them into playful jewellery, Orla Kiely has appliqued them in retro leathers onto shoes and bags whilst Red Valentino have kept them cute in concise rows on lace. Daisy chain gang leader, street style favourite Natalie Joos, has been doubling them up in a Natasha Zinko trouser suit.
But the one daisy item truly blooming in the luscious land of the A-lister? Markus Lupfer x Linda Farrow's Flower Power sunglasses. Mia Moretti and Cleo Wade wore them throughout Coachella. Pixie Lott has a pair. Miley Cyrus popped on a bright yellow pair in a photoshoot for her Happy Hippie Foundation (which rallies young people to fight injustice facing homeless youth, LGBTQ youth, and other vulnerable populations). She kindly shared them with her co-star, NYC-based transgender writer, Tyler Ford.
