We’ve been privy to all the details of Kim Kardashian’s journey to fall pregnant with baby number two. From having sex with hubby Kanye West '500 times a day' to letting his sperm ‘marinate’ inside her (TMI much?) it seemed her attempts were futile. Then, last night at the end the Keeping Up With The Kardashians season finale (when else) it was revealed that Kim IS expecting a second baby. Congrats to Kimye and big sister North!
Talk soon turned to baby names and Twitter was flooded with helpful suggestions. What will Kim and Kanye call their newest addition to the family? Here’s a rundown of possible baby names...
1) South West
Perhaps somewhat predictably a lot of Twitter seem to think ‘South West’ would, and indeed, should be the name for North’s unborn sibling. Fans pleaded with Kim to name her baby South. Patrick Schwazenegger even got involved making a joke about American airline SouthWest. Good one Pat.
2) East West
Sticking with the directional theme perhaps Kimye will go with East instead of South.
3) West West
Of couse there's always the option of giving their second born the same first and last name. The only other person we can think of with a double name is Neville Neville. Who you ask? Footballers Gary and Phil Neville’s dad of course.
4) Go West
Will Kimye immortalise the Pet Shop Boys' 1993 hit song? We’re not so sure.
5) Mid West
We're not even sure what to say here. Perhaps they'll name their child after theAmerican region that contains the fine states of Minnesota & Iowa?
6) Donda West
Will Kanye want to pay tribute to his late mother by using her name?
7) King West
Ladbrokes are offering 10/1 on this regal name so get your bets in quick.
In case you've forgotten North started off as a rumour before Kimye decided that was the moniker for the daughter.
In an interview Kim explained: 'It was a rumor in the press and we'd never really considered it seriously, at all, but Kanye and I were having lunch right over there at that table about a year ago and Pharrell came over to us and said "Oh, my God, are you guys really going to call your daughter North? That is the best name."I said 'No we're not, that's just a rumor,'"
'Then a little while later Anna Wintour came over and asked the same thing. She told us "North is a genius name". Kanye and I looked at one another and just laughed. I guess at that point it sort of stuck.'
So essentially YOU have the power to name Kimye’s baby. Use that power wisely.
