Thank the gods of the twill-weave - the perfect flared jeans have finally arrived. Forget schlepping to the tailors for shortening, changing room rage at the pair that just isn't *quite *long enough, because the _jean_iuses at 7 For All Mankind have just upped the ante with their new range launching this summer: flares for the 'average' woman.

Since a 35" leg is now a standard length - and petite ranges only cater for those 5'3" and under - it's long been quite a feat to find a length suitable for those who don't fall at either end of the height spectrum. Until now.

This week WWD announced that 7 For All Mankind will be launching Tailorless, a collection of 3 styles perfect for the 90% of the population who fall between 5 ft. 4 and 5 ft. 8. With inseams of 32 and 33”, everyone can now rock the 1970’s trend without having to begrudgingly pay for alterations, to have them fit perfectly for their debut. And let’s face it, how many of us actually remember to take things to be altered, and how many of us just leave things in a bag at the bottom of their wardrobe until they forget that they’re there?

But, as much as the announcement has had us frantically adding the August debut date to our diaries, not to mention the 4 more styles coming out in October, shouldn’t it have happened long before now?

Either way, frankly, we're over the moon. Finally, jeans that don't remind us we're actually not a model-like 6ft, or make us feel like we're wearing something we grew out of five years ago. Get us on the waiting list...
