"Sienna's hair had been pre-texturised with a gentle wave - this will give a better hold for the plaits on shorter length hair like Sienna's. Start to create two inverted plaits from the centre of the front of the head, moving around to the nape of the neck where you should pin them together so they sit close to the head. Hold the style with Windle & Moodie Light Satin Hairspray."

"For the opening ceremony it seemed fitting to take our inspiration from Grace Kelly - chic and elegant. First, I prepped her hair with Clynol Moisture Dream Leave In Conditioner and Windle & Moodie Foundation Spray. I blow dried her hair with a large round brush, then tonged with medium curling iron in large sections. I left it to set, then took them out and brushed them through. I blow dried with a large round brush to soften the curls and gently smooth the hair, without taking away the body and bounce. Once styled, I ran my fingers through the hair using a little of the Windle & Moodie Cream Sheen and Windle & Moodie Shine & Smoothing Oil. Then I sprayed a light mist of Windle & Moodie Light Satin Hairspray to set the look."

"To achieve this look, I sectioned off the front half of the hair, then pulled the remaining back section towards the nape area and twisted into a mid to low chignon using invisible hair bands and very fine hair pins so they cannot be seen. Then, I took the top section and very gently backcombed, and then spritzed with Windle & Moodie Light Satin Hairspray. Next, I ran my fingers through the top to loosen it up a little - you can secure it with pins if your hair is longer, but it's easier to do this style on hair that is not too long. Then I sprayed with Windle & Moodie Light Satin Hairspray again to finish."

"First, I prepped with Clynol Moisture Dream Leave In Conditioner and Windle & Moodie Foundation Spray. Then, I curled her hair with a medium curling tong to create an extra loose wave around the front of the hair, and left the front section down. I took the back section of the hair and pulled it back, low and tight at the nape of the neck and secure. I tucked Sienna's hair under to create an even shorter, softer look. Then I sprayed a light mist of Windle & Moodie Light Satin Hairspray to finish."

Prep your hair with Clynol Leave-in Conditioner then give your hair a really thorough blow dry. Use a medium curling iron tong in very random sections (do not be too precise with this, it will give better results), work through the hair and curl. When the hair is fully tonged leave to cool, then pull each curl out separately using your fingers. Finally, just a quick blast with the blowdryer and a very light mist of Windle & Moodie Light Satin Hairspray to finish off your style."

The true star of Cannes? Sienna Miller's lob and the endless ways she wears it, of course! Forget the glitzy ceremonies and even glitzier frocks, Sienna and her many tousled ways have won our heart. Not only does she have the best cut on the scene - Sienna keeps her 'do edgy with the help of a hidden undercut - but she's also got hair maestro, Earl Simms, on hand to make sure her tresses are always tip-top.

Earl sent us some exclusive get-the-look tutorials straight from Cannes where he's been working with Sienna, and everything from that already oft-copied braided number to her trademark undone waves is in there.
