It has now been 51 days since Zayn Malik left One Direction, and now the band have given their first interview about his surprise exit.

So who got the interview everybody wants? James Corden of course. The four boys appeared on The Late Late Show where they talked about their life post-Zayn.

Liam Payne said: We were angry but it's better now. There were parts of this job that Zayn loved, but there were parts he hated. And you can't hate this job at all, or only like some of it. So he had to do what was best for him." He added: "We wish him the best of luck...No hard feelings."

Louis talked about his Twitter spat with Zayn saying that "I have never been good at holding my tongue. I think I get it from me mum." Louis said that he is now on "good terms" with the former directioner. Zayn tweeted at Louis a few weeks ago: "@louistomlinson remember when you had a life and stopped making bitchy comments about mine ?"

When asked if they wanted to stop One Direction Naill said: "Not at all. The four of us love every part of it. The shows have been great and the fans deserve it. They've been absolutely fantastic to us."

This is a James Corden interview, so of course it wasn't all questions and answers. They enter into a dodgeball competition, with James Corden as their coach and team captain. The highlight is when instead of a national anthem they sing 'Steal My Girl' with their hands on their hearts. Oh and they all wear short-shorts. Watch below...
