As Robert Pattinson's other half, what could possibly go wrong? Turns out being the rumoured fiance of the Twilight hearthrob has brought FKA Twigs more abuse than she bargained for.
She told The New York Times that the frenzied interest in their relationship - plus vicious online abuse from die-hard Pattinson fans - was difficult to deal with.
'It's really hard - I can't begin to explain how awful it is,' she said of becoming a part of the 'Twilight' sphere. 'It makes you want to just stop everything sometimes. It makes you want to smash your face into the mirror.'
The singer - who is biracial - also revealed how she had been on the receiving end of nasty racial insults via Twitter and Instagram ever since her relationship with R.Patz became public.
'There's no amount of songs I can sing or dances I can dance that will prove to them I'm not a monkey,' she said of her frustrations - inisting that being with the famous actor hadn't helped her own career.
Despite the haters, she added that she's 'happy'. You keep your head high girl!
